during the kids naptime i made these.

the little things.make a statement.
Playing catch up with Elise's paper project.
Dang I have missed doing these.
Figured I would use some of Jamie's scrappy leftovers while patiently awaiting the arrival of this month's SIS collection.
It's a purty one. So calm and subdued.
Just like me after a glass of wine.

Creative outlet therapy if you will.

To keep contsructive while he is away.

To make something to pass the time and have as a pleasant reminder.

lay like broccoli.

make it homemade.
and eat up on breakfast for dinner.
Among other random things.
That's how we are spending our days.
I promise to be back soon with crafty stuff, but for now I am stocking up on the family together time.
Because 7 months without it, is way too long.

  • doing our taxes...errrr.
  • organizing papers and random junk drawers throughout the house.
  • finally made all long overdue doctor/dentist appointments for myself.
  • cleaning house for Dad's arrival on Thursday.
  • wanting to catch up on some overlooked, best me and paper adventure.
  • making Costco salmon for dinner.
  • packing Olivia's first school lunch for tomorrow and feeling nervous to let her grow up.

Never did I think the day would come where I would enjoy wine.

March 1st was the day.
An imprompto trip up to Los Olivos wine country did it.
Or maybe 7 wineries down, it all tasted just fine.
I am more of a sweet white wine kinda girl.
and Anthony, more of a Syrah red kinda guy.
My favorite were the Daniel Gehrs wines by a longshot though.
So I think this Friday night will be spent re-watching Sideways and enjoying a bottle of wine.
Who would have thought.
